TANKWA TRAPPERS

It all started back in 1986 with a father climbing onto his bicycle, to embark upon a journey through the Ceres Karoo, allowing his soul to catch up with him again.

 

25 years later he did it again, but this time his 3 sons cycled alongside him.  At the end of their 3 day ”Trap”, the idea was born to turn the adventure into something more.

 

Tankwa Trappers was registered as an NPO in May 2013, and so a brand new adventure and challenge begins.

 

Our main objective is to raise money by means of donations from the public. We will do this by riding in an annual cycle event. We will cycle 220km in 3 days from Keiskie, a farm in the Calvinia district to the Tankwa Padstal in the Ceres district.

 

Our mission is to raise money for needy projects in the Calvinia/Ceres districts, through our cycling adventure.
